I've started a contest with subscription prizes! Click HERE for more information. Thank you to ~crystaltie for their help on deciding the theme.

If we can get enough entries without having to extend the deadline then I'd like to have a contest for New Year afterwards. :) However, if anyone has a suggestion for the next theme instead of New Year it would be very helpful. If I buy the club a subscription later on I may hold a poll for preferred themes.

Also, I'm sorry about the lack of deviation updates. I've had at least an essay a week lately, but I'll try to catch up with the rest over the weekend as our school has 2 extra days off. Thank you everyone for contributing!

We're active again! My exams are over and now that I've started a new year I'm ready to keep this club organised and up-to-date! I will try my very best to log in every week, once a month at the minimum. Welcome to all of the new members!

I just finished updating all of the journals. There are a few new ones so that the main journal doesn’t get too crowded; rules and members have their own journals now with an updated layout. Please tell me if there are any problems. I will work on submissions tomorrow night. :)

Oh, I might as well throw the suggestion out there; contest, anyone? Prizes will include subscriptions. ;D

L A T E S T . C O N T E S T


ID CONTEST

The club is in need of an ID since it's had a fresh start. There is no particular theme but feel free to use one (Hallowe'en is just around the corner and Christmas is coming up soon). Any art media is accepted, as well as literature. Enjoy and good luck!

Your entry must:

include the clubs name “cardcaptor-fans” somewhere in the image.
include at least one character from the series (Sakura, Syaoran, Tomoyo, Kero...)

I N F O R M A T I O N


The contest starts on the 25th September and it ends on the 27th November. You have two full months to complete your entries.

Extensions are available but only for 2 weeks longer at most unless we have less than 3 entries and then the contest will only last for an extra month tops. Once it's over, the voting will start on the 29th November and end on the 5th December, but this may change if there is an extension. That's a whole week so we'll hopefully collect a decent amount of votes.

From now on my reply to comments on what is and is not allowed will be a link to the FAQ journal, unless the information is not included in the journal and then I will reply with an explanation and update it. P R I Z E S


1st Prize: 3 month subscription and request (3 characters max, can be separate images, fully coloured)
2nd Prize: 1 month subscription and request, (2 characters max, can be separate images, fully coloured)
3rd Prize: 1 month subscription and request (1 character max, fully coloured)

These requests, the majority of the time, are all done by myself (~chimera-99) so please remain patient. They do not have to be related to Card Captor Sakura and can be both artwork and literature, provided that I know of the series (for literature).

First place will become the new ID for the club.
All entrants will have their work as the Featured Deviation for at least a week, in order of place.
All entrants will be featured in the journal for two weeks.

If anyone can donate prizes it would be much appreciated.

How do I submit Art?

Send the club a note entitled "submission" and include a link.
If desired I will add a watermark to the image with your deviantART username.


What are the rules for submitted Artwork?

You must be a member to submit.
No 18+ mature content art may be submitted.
Yaoi/Yuri/Shonen-Ai/Shoujo-Ai is accepted; porn/hentai is not.
If your deviation is removed from your gallery, please inform us.
No Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE fan art.

What are the Rules?

You must be a member to take part.
Entries must be a new piece of art. They will not be accepted otherwise.
The work must be entirely your own; no tracings, colourings or bases allowed (unless significantly changed).
Unless said otherwise in contest description, only one entry per person.


What am I allowed to Submit?

Yaoi/Yuri/Shonen-Ai/Shoujo-Ai is accepted; porn/hentai is not.
OC's are allowed as long as there is one character from the series in the art.


What am I not allowed to Submit?

No 18+ mature content art.
No Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE fan art.


Are collaborations Allowed?

If both deviants are members, yes. However it is unlikely that the both of you will receive the full prize. I realise that this could discourage some but I simply do cannot afford too many subscriptions and I don’t have the time for too many requests.

1st Prize - One member receives the 3 month subscription while the other recieves the request OR both members receive a 1 month subscription and a request with a maximum of two characters.
2nd Prize and 3rd Prize - One member will receive a subscription while the other receives the request.


How to I Enter?

Send a note to the club with the title "contest entry" (for example) and include a link to your entry/entries.
Any links given in any journal or on the main page will be ignored.

_{Note: Entries will automatically be submitted into the club gallery after the contest is over. If you note the club and include a link to artwork, you are giving your consent that we may submit the image.}


Should I include any club Information?

It is not a requirement to mention the club or the contest in your entries comment but it would be appreciated.


Is there anything else I should Know?

You must note the club if you have changed the file in your entry or wish to submit another piece instead.
Contest entries will only be submitted after the said contest is finished.
